The Horizon Alliance has secured three major industry awards. These include;
Australian Steel Institute Award
At the Australian Steel Institute (ASI) Queensland Steel Design Awards announced on Thursday, 27 August 2009, Horizon accepted the award for ‘Winner - Engineering Projects Structural Engineering Steel Design Excellence: Infrastructure and Mining’ for the Springfield Link bridge.
The award highlights the excellence of design achievable with the versatility of steel, aesthetics and the industry’s capabilities and efficiencies.

Construction Skills Training Centre Award
The Horizon Alliance took out two prestigious awards at the Construction Skills Training Centre Awards for Excellence on Saturday, 19 September 2009. Horizon was honoured with two of the ten industry awards, which recognise individuals and companies that have made significant contributions to training excellence in Queensland’s building and construction industry. Horizon was awarded: Employer of the Year - Civil Construction Best Trainee for Civil (Bridge Construction and Maintenance).
