The Horizon Alliance combines the expertise, resources and experience of established industry leaders in infrastructure design and delivery.
Horizon’s dynamic and flexible project delivery model provides a full realm of engineering design and construction services, with the primary goal of delivering world-class integrated infrastructure to the booming south east Queensland community.
The alliance model allows complex projects to be delivered on time and to budget, while building strong relationships across industry sectors. Horizon will go beyond business as usual. As a dynamic, focused team, challenges will be met and expectations surpassed.
Horizon was officially formed in March 2007 when the Program Alliance Agreement was signed by executives of the Horizon participant organisations – QR (Queensland Rail), John Holland Pty Ltd, GHD Pty Ltd and Kellogg Brown and Root Pty Ltd. Later, in recognition of a combined road and rail transport corridor, the alliance was joined by the former Department of Main Roads.
The first project for The Horizon Alliance is Stage 1 of the much anticipated Darra to Springfield Transport Corridor.
