All our construction activities are carried out to ensure minimal impact and disturbance to the natural environment. Some of the initiatives at to help protect the environment include:
- Implement and maintain an environmental management system
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations and statutory obligations
- Manage environmental issues in accordance with client requirements, policies and procedures
- Aim to achieve environmental performance beyond business as usual
- Include principles of ecologically sustainable development in our activities
- Establish and review meaningful and accurate environmental performance measures and, where possible, identify measures to improve
- Communicate environmental performance to our staff and stakeholders
- Protect the environment through reducing pollution, resource conservation, waste minimisation, managing energy use and protection of ecological values
- Provide sufficient and suitable resources to implement, maintain and improve the environmental management system
- Ensure open communication with the community, key stakeholders, industry and the government
- Educate and train our people to continually improve
- Create an environmentally aware culture.
